Average Rental Rates Increase in Georgia, Across US

Recently released U.S. Census Bureau data on rental homes across Georgia and the rest of the US indicates that average rental rates continue to increase. Average monthly rental rates across the US climbed to $1,003 in the third quarter of 2018, a ten percent increase since last year. For the first time, the average rental rate across the country is over $1,000.00. The South, including the Atlanta area, saw the largest rental increases, with average rental rates rising $66.00 since the 1st quarter of this year to $973.00.
