Bucking National Trend, Atlanta Area Has Fewer New Real Estate Listings In December
The number of new homes listed for sale in housing markets across the US grew nearly 5% in December when compared to a year earlier-- the largest increase in over three years-- giving buyers increased negotiating power. In the Atlanta area, however, the number of new homes on the market decreased by nearly 4%, and home prices rose by 5% when compared to a year earlier, an indication that local demand remains high.
