Confidence in Housing Market Reaches New Record Heights in Georgia, US

According to a recent Fannie Mae survey, consumer confidence regarding the housing market in Georgia and across the US in July rose to its highest level since the survey was started in 2010. More Americans said they felt secure in their employment and expressed confidence that now is a good time to buy a home, mostly due to current low home mortgage interest rates. In the weeks since the survey was released, however, stock losses and trade tensions with China have begun signaling less optimistic economic outlooks.
