Georgia Home Flipping Up, Profits Down

A recent report indicates that home flipping in Georgia and around the country in 2019 reached its highest level since 2006. The term home flipping refers to investors buying real estate, making repairs, then quickly selling it again in hopes of making a profit. Over 6% of homes sold in the US in 2019 were flips. While flipping activity rose, however, profits from flipping were down over 3% when compared to the previous year.
