Georgia Housing Market Slows During Covid 19 Pandemic, But Most Realtors Expect Speedy Recovery
While most realtors in the Atlanta area and around the state of Georgia expect a housing market slowdown this spring due to the Covid 19 pandemic, most are also optimistic that the market will rebound quickly once the crisis is over. According to a recent survey of realtors, nearly 60% said that buyers have delayed home purchases and home sellers have removed their homes from the market due to the virus. Many local real estate agents are using the resulting down time to implement new technology in their operations that will allow them to offer video tours, use electronic signatures, make better use of social media, and manage transactions from afar in the future.
