Home Prices Continue Rising, But One Third of US Housing Markets Overvalued

New housing market reports indicate that the slowdown in home prices early last year was temporary and ended by late summer. Since then, home prices have continued to rise across the country. November home prices, when compared to a year earlier, rose 3.7% nationally and over 4.3% in Georgia. Although real estate market analysts believe that up to a third of US housing markets are now over-valued, home prices are expected to rise over 5% nationally during the next year.
