Home Prices Still Rising Despite Economic Uncertainty
Despite ongoing economic uncertainty related to the Covid 19 pandemic, home prices rose nearly 7% in September in Georgia and around the country, the highest monthly increase in over six years. Real estate analysts say that record low home mortgage interest rates contributed to the increase. Additionally, a large segment of the population is reaching the age range of the typical first time home buyer, leading to increased interest in the housing market.
