Refinance Activity Increases in April
Lower home mortgage interest rates led to an increase in refinance activity in April, according to newly released data. Lenders across Georgia and the rest of the US reported that the share of refinances rose 10 percentage points to 65% of all closed home mortgage loans between March and April. Mortgage brokers, lenders, and closing attorneys are increasingly turning to digital technology to continue closing home mortgage loans despite the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic.
