Tarfiffs Could Potentially Add to Home Building Costs

Real estate analysts believe that buyers of new homes across Georgia and the remainder of the US in 2019 could face, on average, increased costs of up to $17,000 if the US and China do not come to an agreement on tariff rates by March 1. With many home building projects using imported materials such as lumber, stone products, granite, tile, etc, costs to home buyers are expected to increase if a new agreement is not reached.
