Georgia Home Builders Less Optimisic, But Many Anticipate Housing Downturn Will Be Short Lived

As the Covid 19 virus continues to spread across Georgia and the rest of the US with no end in sight, home builders' confidence in the housing market has decreased dramatically in recent weeks. In early 2020, before the outbreak of the virus, new homes were selling at their strongest pace since the last recession. More recently, however, buyer traffic has been reduced dramatically. Many real estate experts, however, believe that the downturn will be temporary, as pent up demand for housing will return once the health crisis eases.
