Pandemic Spurs Interest in Suburban Homes in Georgia and Around the US

Fueled by the increase in work-from-home opportunities related to the Covid 19 pandemic and recent social unrest in some areas around the country, more home buyers are expressing interest in buying homes in suburban areas, a reversal of recent trends toward in-town locations. Nearly 60% of white collar workers now work from home, compared to 7% before the pandemic. As a result, home buyers this summer are looking for larger spaces where they can set up a home office or space for their children to attend online classes, increasing the appeal of larger, less expensive homes in the suburbs.
